Prescriber E-Recaps are interactive. Prescribers will receive an email with a link to access their quarterly Prescriber E-Recap, and prescribers can access their past four quarterly PERx at any time by logging into their K-TRACS account. View the video tutorial or reference the user guide for more information. Locate the reports in your K-TRACS accounts as shown below:
Prescriber E-Recaps (PERx) are sent quarterly to prescribers registered with K-TRACS who have a defined specialty. The reports are automatically generated from your individual prescribing history, as reported to K-TRACS, and outline your prescribing patterns compared to others in your listed specialty.
The recap is a snapshot of your last six months of prescribing history.
How many patients you have prescribed opioids, as well as a comparison to those prescribers within the same healthcare specialty.
Opioid treatment duration, which shows the percentage of patients who have been prescribed opioids for fewer than 7 days, 7 to 28 days, 29 to 90 days, or more than 90 days.
Multiple Provider Episodes (MPE) show the number of your patients who have met or exceeded the K-TRACS "doctor shopping" threshold of 5 prescribers and 3 pharmacies within 90 days.
MME information broken out so you can see where your opioid prescribing falls within multiple MME ranges.
K-TRACS usage, which shows how much you and your delegate(s) are using the PDMP.
Dangerous Combination Therapy looks at details of your patients’ combination therapies that may increase a patient’s risk for overdose.
