K-TRACS toolkit highlights medication safety for patients

Oct 08, 2020

With the launch of a new website, K-TRACS has also launched a provider toolkit available for free download by all healthcare professionals in Kansas.

The toolkit focuses on medication safety and primarily contains consumer-facing information that can be distributed in person or digitally to patients.

“This toolkit is intended to help prescribers and pharmacists have important conversations with their patients and supply them with materials they can take home as a reminder of those conversations,” said Jennifer Donnelly, assistant director of K-TRACS.

The toolkit is available on the K-TRACS website, and all materials can be downloaded for free. Organizations have the opportunity to co-brand the information for distribution to their patients by submitting a logo to K-TRACS to get a co-branded copy of the materials.

The toolkit includes rack cards, digital flyers, brochures, digital ads and social media content. It also contains pocket guides that can be downloaded for prescriber and pharmacist use.
