Carly Haynes R.Ph.

Carly has been with the Board for over 15 years. She originally graduated from Northeastern State University with a B.S. in Biology. After teaching one year, she returned to Southwestern Oklahoma State University and graduated with her pharmacy degree. Carly is licensed as a registered pharmacist in Kansas and a Doctor of Pharmacy in Oklahoma. Carly has experienced pharmacy from the hospital, consultant, retail, and regulatory perspective. She has completed specialized training in USP <797> from CriticalPoint and Campbell University, and holds credentials as a:
- CISCI, Certification in Sterile Compounding for Inspectors
- CLEAR National Certified Inspector/Investigator, and
- Commissioned Officer of the Department of Health and Human Services 

Jim Kinderknecht R.Ph.
Pharmacy Inspector

Jim earned his Pharmacy degree from the University of Kansas and recently received his 50-year Certificate from the Board. He has served as the Interim Director for the Board of Pharmacy twice during his 20+ years of service to the Board. Prior to that, Jim worked in the role of pharmacist, manager, chief pharmacist, and owner in the retail, hospital, and independent pharmacy settings. Jim is a commissioned officer of the FDA, serves on the Board of Directors for Shawnee County Health Agency, is a member of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity, and is a member of the Knights of Columbus.  

Melissa Martin

Melissa is a native of Haviland, Kansas, and received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Fort Hays State University in 1999. Before coming to the Board of Pharmacy, she worked for a national chain pharmacy in several different pharmacy roles. Melissa is a CLEAR National Certified Investigator/Inspector, a commissioned officer of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Food and Drug Administration, has completed specialized training in USP <797> from CriticalPoint, and earned her Certification in Sterile Compounding for Inspectors (CISCI). Melissa has been a Pharmacy Compliance Inspector for 13 years.

Kayla is the newest Board inspector and is a Western Kansas native. She holds an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Barton County Community College. Kayla worked in law enforcement for over six years, and she is a Certified Pharmacy Technician through PTCB with over six years of experience in the hospital and retail pharmacy settings. Kayla recently completed her USP <797> specialized training and certification with CriticalPoint, and earned her Certificate in Sterile Compounding for Inspectors (CISCI). She is also a Commissioned Officer for the Department of Health and Human Services. Kayla was most recently an assistant manager for a national retail pharmacy chain.

Shelley Rosebrook R.Ph.

Shelley is licensed as a registered pharmacist in Kansas with over 20 years of experience in the independent retail pharmacy setting. She has lived in central Kansas for almost 30 years. Shelley is immunization certified and has completed the Diabetes Accreditation Standards Practical Application Course in Diabetes Self-Management Education/Training. In addition, she is a commissioned officer for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and recently completed her USP <797> specialized training and certification with CriticalPoint, earning her Certificate in Sterile Compounding for Inspectors (CISCI)
